Fien Berckenbosch (1998°) is an interior designer and jewellery designer, as well as a goldsmith, born and raised in Borgloon, Limburg, Belgium, and currently based in Brussels.
In recent years, she has devoted herself to exploring and refining her artistic voice, ultimately finding it through the craft of goldsmithing.
All pieces are crafted in 925 sterling silver, with the option to have them gold-plated or fully made in gold. She brings her creations to life using the lost-wax casting method, combined with traditional goldsmithing techniques.
Most designs are unique and one-of-a-kind. If a piece captures your heart, she can create a custom version especially for you.
Quiet strength of connection
Soldered Ants is inspired by the quiet strength of connection. Like ants linking together to cross impossible terrain, but also how one ant, alone, might find something, an idea, a fragment, a solution, and return it for bigger use. From that spark, the chain forms and the path appears.
Fien her work follows a similar rhythm: quiet movements, small acts of gathering stories and instincts, soldered into something meaningful. She works instinctively, starting from a spark of inspiration and allowing material and form to evolve organically. Each piece becomes a collage of connection, wearable and deeply human, inspired on nature. She moves intuitively, letting the process guide her. Scraps often find their purpose weeks later, joining unexpectedly with something that has been waiting, like parts of a harmonious, ever-evolving puzzle.
